Hi, I am Jesse Jaymes Capazario, the creative behind Curated Live Culture.

I started my career 6 years ago, as an eager student writing blog articles and designing my own personal website on WordPress.

Since then, I have had the wonderful privilege of working with global clients including the UK, USA, Canada, and my home, South Africa. This has given me the opportunity to understand different audiences and provide a worldview perspective.

A Little About Me

My journey started with me working out of my childhood bedroom, writing blog articles on mental health and positivism in 2020. I was still in high school, but desperate to start creating something. I learned how to design my own website using WordPress thus sparking my basic understanding of website development and love for marketing.

In 2021, I embarked on my professional career, fresh out of school. I landed a job working for a PR company. I wasn’t anyone important, I worked as an assistant, yet they encouraged my engagement and I was able to work on multiple client research projects. Industries I worked closely with include, Education, Health, Mining, Governmental, and Wellness.

My freelance journey started in 2022, this was the turning point in my career as I landed international clients and worked with people from across the globe; from the comfort of my own home. I wrote some blog articles, but mostly worked on social media copywriting. This is where the writing generalist in me was born, researching multiple topics and diving into many different industries. These included, but were not limited to, Recruitment, Marketing, Finance, Technology, Business Services and Consulting.

In 2023, I got a taste of the non-profit industry, and boy did I get a whirlwind of an experience. I fell hopelessly in love with the possibilities. Still, working in the writing sector, I found myself working as a freelance journalist for a non-profit organisation, South African Women in Dialogue. Being able to capture the essence of the events was an absolute dream. I continued my work in the non-profit industry in 2024 and 2025, I worked under a 5 month contract for African Women in Dialogue (a sister organisation) where I helped with admin, logistics and media.

But that is not all. In 2024, I also had the amazing privilege of taking my writing ventures abroad. I wrote blog articles in the Appalachian Mountains located in North Carolina, USA. An opportunity that connected me to nature, new experiences, and deepened my passion for the world and travel.

Still working closely with non-profit organisations, 2025 was a year of deep inner reflection. I had the space to really look within and discover the direction in which I want to take my life. This led me to where I am today.

Fast forward to 2026! I am a first year student, studying International Relations with a focus on Development Studies. I have taken my knowledge and experiences and am now dedicated to sharing my view with the world. Having a background in writing, marketing, and communications combined with my sense of adventure has led to me where I am today. A bit of a messy journey, but I would not change it for the world. Still focused on marketing, with a touch of humanitarianism.
